OUR STORY

Paradise Pines was purchased by current management in Oct. 2018, five weeks prior to the "Camp Fire" in Paradise and Maglia California on November 8, 2018. The fire burned a small portion of the park near Dogtown Road. The Eastern edge of the fire parallels the fence line on the Southern edge of the park.  The area where the the guests stay was not burned.

Most of the trees survived the fire but the bark beetle has taken several since the fire due to their weakened state and lack of rain in the area. However, we still have a lot of shade and most lots are shaded all day. We are also planning on building the world's largest Adirondack Chair from the trees that were taken by the bark beetle. No sense in not making lemonade from lemons so you will currently find our trees being milled for this purpose.

The park was in disrepair and needed a lot of attention.  The current management worked with California Housing and Community Development to fix all of the disrepair and update to current code many of the original fixtures and buildings.

All of the lots have been leveled and six (6) or more inches of road base have been installed in each RV  or automobile parking spaces

We are currently, April 2022, working on grading the open area for the summer. This area will accommodate many types of functions, from small gatherings to concerts/plays/weddings for seating of up to 600. As this area comes online you will find activities in the space such as Large Group Fire Pit, Lawn Games, Day Use Picnic Tables, Clean Flush Bathrooms, or just about any outdoor activity you can do on a lawn.

We offer RV and camp spots or extended RV stays of up to 6 months.  Our guests are known to be the best! You'll love their neighborly attitudes and look out for each other spirit.

"Paradise Pines is a great place to stay. I looked at many RV parks and this one happens to be my #1 pick. Everyone in the park is very kind and welcoming. The Owner is a very nice person and did an amazing job keeping the park clean and comfortable. I will definitely return after my stay."

"I just spent 4 months staying at Paradise Pines RV. My stay there was amazing! Lots of long term campers! The people there treat you like family!! Lots of kids and families at this park. I will definitely stay there again if I get a job close by again. The owner has made amazing progress rebuilding this park since the fire. He has “cleaned house “!! This is not a tweaker park anymore!!! I highly recommend this park for a nice quiet stay with yourself or your family!!

"Beautiful setting under the pines up above the valley floor where the weather is much cooler! We spent the summer months there to escape the heat while we needed to be close to Chico. Gary is super friendly and has made great progress cleaning up the park and improving the sites. Our site was lovely and spacious. People are friendly."
